Coffin Prices
Generally, there are two types of coffin (or casket) used in funerals, and it is differentiated by its use, as below:
- Cremation Coffin (aka Cremation Caskets)
- Burial Coffin (aka Burial Caskets)
Cremation Coffin
The coffin used during the funeral wake will also be the same one that will be cremated with the deceased. For cremation purposes, the recommendation is usually the basic version that will not hinder the cremation process during the combustion process. If you are purchasing a funeral package, the coffin is already included and you would not be required to make a separate purchase.
Burial Coffin
Choosing a better quality coffin is a very common practice for burials. If you have purchased a funeral package, the coffin is already included in the package. The Service Advisor will provide you with upgrade options if you would like to get a better quality version or maybe of a different design. There are a lot of varieties to choose from, and family members can view the available choices at the gallery. However, it does not mean upgrading is compulsory or necessary as the one provided in the funeral package is equally good for both cremation and burial.
