What The Funeral Service Covers

• Transportation of the deceased: Nirvana offers a 24-hour careline that can arrange the transportation of the deceased from hospital/medical center/nursing home/private home to the funeral parlour/home. This careline operates 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
• Funeral wake location: Option of conducting funeral wake at home OR at Nirvana Funeral Parlour (either Nirvana Kuala Lumpur, Nirvana Sungai Besi, or Nirvana Shah Alam).
• Arrangements, coordination & conduct for the funeral wake: All the necessary arrangements to conduct the funeral wake, including at home (tables, chairs, canopy – total items will be listed in the package) or at Nirvana Funeral Parlour (size of room and items provided will be listed in the package). All religious rituals and rites can be accommodated – discuss this in detail during the initial discussion with the Funeral Director to make sure that all request are taken into account. If there are additional fees, it will be informed to you beforehand.
• Option of burial/cremation: All the necessary arrangements for either burial/cremation is included. For burial, the funeral service package covers transportation to the location of the burial land (subject to T&C – within KL/Selangor). If the burial land is not in either of Nirvana’s memorial park, you will need to make separate arrangements with the other memorial park. For cremation, the funeral service covers the cremation process and urn – you will only need to collect your loved one’s remains once the process is completed.
• Coffin: The funeral service includes the coffin and also embalmment and encoffinment. During the initial discussion with the Funeral Director, families can opt to upgrade or change the coffin type at a fee. As always, any additional fees/charges will be informed to you beforehand.
• White ladies service: For deceased women, Nirvana offers an all-female team to manage the funeral arrangements to ensure a respectful and dignified farewell.
• Transparent pricing: All Nirvana Funeral Service packages prices are regulated by Nirvana Asia Ltd. You will be presented with an official list of items for each package, and all these information are legally binding when the contract/purchase order is signed. There is no hidden prices or surprises in the prices. If you require any additional services, you will be informed of the additional fees/prices (if any) before the services are rendered.
• Experienced bereavement care company: Nirvana has over 30 years of experience in the bereavement care industry – with experience in conducting funeral service for different religions.

#2 Immediate Assistance 24 Hours x 7 Days

Once you have purchased the Nirvana Funeral Service package, the 24-hour careline is available to you. When death occurs, give us a call and we will assist you to arrange for the transportation of the deceased to the funeral parlour/home (depending on your preference-which will be discussed during the initial consultation).

#3 Assist You Throughout The Funeral Wake

The professional Nirvana bereavement team will be able to assist you throughout the funeral service/wake. If you need additional assistance, our team will be available to help out as well.

1. Are prices final – is there a discount?
   All Nirvana funeral package prices are regulated, and are to be paid directly to Nirvana. We are not able to provide a discount for the prices.
2. I found a cheaper package – how is that possible?
   The Nirvana pre-plan package is slightly cheaper than the instant/immediate use package. If you are pre-purchasing the package, we can offer you the same prices as well.
3. Any hidden cost? I don’t want to pay extra
   Nirvana funeral packages comes with a list of items applicable for each package. You will not be charged extra, unless you request for additional services/items – which the team will inform you of any additional fees beforehand.
4. Does this include the final resting place? Burial plot or niche in a columbarium.
   The prices are only for the funeral service and excludes the final resting place. If you would like to purchase a niche or a burial land, let us know and we can assist you.
5. I have my own burial land/niche in a columbarium – can I still buy your funeral service?
   Absolutely. Let us know in advance so that we can advise you on how to make the arrangements.
6. I have an urgent need to arrange a funeral – can you help?
