All Nirvana funeral packages (NLP/FSP) in Central Region will incur “Outstation & Transportation Charges” for location more than 35 km radius from Nirvana Care HQ.
Types of Outstation & Transportation Charges
- Outstation Charges
This is inclusive of the supply of vehicles (van to transport the deceased, equipment van or lorry, ** limousine and hearse), accommodation, suppliers’ outstation charges and manpower fees (SC/DSC, SCA, service supervisor, workers, **emcee, **embalmer and etc.). This is only applicable if the wake/funeral service is held at location that is out of 35 km radius of Nirvana Care HQ. At time of writing, the charges range from RM 3,400 to RM 7,300 depending on the zones that indicates the distance from Nirvana Care HQ.
** if applicable - Transfer of Remains
This is inclusive of the supply of vehicle (van to transport the deceased) and manpower fees (SC/DSC or service supervisor and workers). At time of writing, the charges range from RM 600 to RM 1,320 depending on the zones that indicates the distance from Nirvana Care HQ. - Funeral Procession
This is inclusive of supply vehicles (hearse, **cortege lead car, **limousine and equipment van or lorry) and manpower fees (SC/DSC, SCA, workers and etc). At time of writing, the charges range from RM 1,000 to RM 2,200 depending on the zones that indicates the distance from Nirvana Care HQ.

Outstation Zones & Transport Charges
Typically there are 5 zones to determine the distance from Nirvana Care HQ. This is only valid for Peninsular Malaysia.
- Zone A: 0km – 35km radius from respective Nirvana Care Service Center.
Zone A have no outstation & transportation charges. - Zone B: 36km – 70km radius from respective Nirvana Care Service Center.
- Zone C: 71km – 105km radius from respective Nirvana Care Service Center.
- Zone D: 106km – 210km radius from respective Nirvana Care Service Center.
- Zone E: 211km and above radius from respective Nirvana Care Service Center.
Scenarios of Outstation & Transportation Charges
Below are scenario to illustrate the application of outstation and transportation charges to all Nirvana Life Plan (NLP) packages.
Scenario A
Mr. A have passed away at home and his family member would like to have the wake service at the house instead of Nirvana parlour in Kuala Lumpur. And the final resting place is at Nirvana Shah Alam Memorial Park. They have pre-plan NV Gracious funeral package for the 3 days 2 nights wake/funeral service. The house is located at Bandar Sunway, Selangor which fall under Zone A (0km – 35km). Thus, there will be no outstation charges for it.
Scenario B – Outstation Charges
Mr. B have passed away at home and his family member would like to have the wake service at the house instead of Nirvana parlour in Kuala Lumpur. They have pre-plan NV Elegant funeral package for the 3 days 2 nights wake/funeral service. There will be an additional outstation charges because the house is located at Sekinchan, Selangor which fall under Zone C (71km – 105km).
Scenario C – Transportation Charges
Mr. C have passed away at the hosital in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan during his vacation over there with friends. And his family member would like to have the wake service at one of Nirvana parlour in Kuala Lumpur and the final resting place is at NCKL (Nirvana 2). They have pre-plan NV Harmony funeral package for the 3 days 2 nights wake/funeral service. There will be an additional transportation charges for Transfer of Remains because the hospital is located at Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan which fall under Zone B (36km – 70km).
Scenario D – Transportation Charges
Mr. D have passed away at the hospital in Kuala Lumpur. And his family member would like to have the wake service at one of Nirvana parlour in Kuala Lumpur and the final resting place (burial) is at the local cemetary in his hometown. They have pre-plan NV Memory funeral package for the 3 days 2 nights wake/funeral service. There will be an additional outstation charges transportation charges for Funeral Procession because the cemetary is located at Bidor, Perak which fall under Zone D (106km – 210km).
